![]() ![]() I know that cav is really good early on, but i never go over 2 except when playing specific nations like Poland. But i dont think i can help much with more efficiency. But that was unnecessary, because they won't move if their AI is disabled And I forgot to mention that I removed the fort in Caen to avoid the english army moving somewhere where I can't follow. Here are the screenshots for all the remaining days of the battle:Įven at the end of the battle, the cavalry are still in their original positions and are not flanking.Įdit: forgot part of the ai command. None of the calvalry has changed their position. Here is a screenshot after a few more infantry have fled: Then I would expect that the outermost Franch cavalry moves inwards one space(if flanking was improved as you say) so that they can flank again, but that doesn't happen. Here is a screenshot from the early part of the battle:Īfter 12 days, the outermost english infantry leaves the battlefield(or maybe their numbers reached 0). The outermost english infantry gets a lot of losses, because they get attacked by 5 cavalry each. attack the english army in Caen with 17 infantry and 10 cavalry. The way you afford it.Well it's running at 1 ducat / month until you expand lol.Īi eng to switch off the ai of england so that it doesn't move its troops The way to make this work is avoid battles in rough terrain and defensive battles at all costs + attack from multiple direction. Usually my army comps in the 15th century (well of course it depends of your force limit) would be 10 inf + 4 cav and I would focus on quality and offense (unless playing non-western.Which never happens) for shock and cav combat ability with all offensive unit types. Cav is damn expensive early on, i dont even understand how veryhungryperson is able to get a stack with 8 cavs right at the start with apparently every nation. Reason im asking is because I dont know if im doing the best composition i could be doing ![]() Its tech 13 when i look to make the 4 2 4 stacks
